The Stages and Phases of Training

I was going to talk about the PG Fit Strength Academy in today’s classes, but I noticed that there were a lot of people missing, so I will send you a couple of emails next week about it.  We are launching a brand new program next week that is designed to help you burn fat faster than ever.  It’s called the PG Fit Strength Academy!

The main goal in this academy is to focus on strength. Don’t worry, we aren’t going to turn you into bodybuilders. Adding a little extra strength to your workouts will build muscle, which will burn fat while you rest. And these are new exercises with a personal focus. They are workouts specifically designed to help you get stronger and burn fat.  We will be focusing on the hypertrophy and maximal strength phases of training.  The entire academy lasts for 6 weeks, and we’re only taking 8 people. You probably heard Karina and Seth talk about the stages and phases of training earlier this week, but just to reiterate what they said…there are seven foundational movement patterns or exercises, three stages and six phases of training.  I know it sounds like a lot to remember, but it’s important that you become familiar with them.
