We would like to thank everyone that participated and congratulate the clients that completed level 1 (Rookie). We would also like to give a special shout out to Richard Kolodziejcyk for completing level 2 (Athlete). That’s awesome! He is our first true PG Fit athlete, and to think that his initial goal was to just be able to bend over and tie his own shoes without his gut getting in the way. Remember, if you make it to level 3 (Pro), you will also get a 25% reduction in your membership dues each month.
I know many of you have asked why we do the fitness testing, and why you should participate. If you don’t want to participate, we are not going to force you to. As with anything in life, the only way to measure your progress is to establish benchmarks to gauge your progress. I heard a quote several years ago that really made sense to me, “That which can be measured can be improved.” The only way we will know if you are getting healthier or improving your fitness and reaching your goals is to measure your progress. The fitness testing might have been a wake up call for some of you and for others it might have opened your eyes to what you are capable of doing. Now you can set some goals! I would have never been able to accomplish some of my PRs without someone pushing me (575 lbs. deadlift, 135 lbs. squats on a stability ball, or walking on a treadmill on my hands for a quarter of a mile).
With that being said, this is a great time of the year to review your health and fitness goals. The first quarter is over with. Have you accomplished the New Year’s resolutions you set out for yourself, or are you at least a quarter of the way there? To help you, I have attached the GPS (Guide to Personal Success) System for you to review. What would happen if we dropped you off in the middle of the Amazon forest without a compass or the tools to find your way out? How far would you get? You probably wouldn’t survive the night! Well, the GPS System and five fundamentals are your compass and tools. Use them! We are asking you to turn in your GPS system at the end of the week, so we can review it. You will need to download and print it out. It will take you a few minutes to fill out. Please make sure you do it. Your life depends on it. Literally!
