⚠ Important Partner Notice
This guide provides contraindications and warnings for each medication. Always consult with healthcare providers and conduct proper patient screening before recommending any treatment. When in doubt, refer to medical supervision.
✅ Sermorelin Benefits (GHRH Analog)
GHRH analog that stimulates natural growth hormone release
- Improved sleep – Some users report deeper, more restorative sleep
- Increased energy – May improve daytime energy and reduce fatigue
- Muscle mass support – Studied for promoting lean body mass in GH-deficient adults
- Fat metabolism – May support lipolysis and body fat reduction
- Cognitive clarity – Anecdotally associated with sharper mental function
- Skin health – May promote collagen synthesis and skin elasticity
- Natural hormone stimulation – Encourages body to regulate its own HGH levels
⛔ Strong Contraindications (Do Not Use)
- Known Allergy or Hypersensitivity to Sermorelin or Components
Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to Sermorelin or any ingredients in the formulation (e.g., mannitol). - Active Cancer (Especially GH-Sensitive Tumors)
Contraindicated in known or suspected malignancy, especially those sensitive to growth hormone (e.g., breast, prostate, or pituitary tumors). Growth hormone can stimulate tumor growth—even indirectly. - Pituitary Tumors or History of Pituitary Disease
⚠ Use with Caution
- Diabetes or Insulin Resistance
Sermorelin can increase IGF-1, which may reduce insulin sensitivity. Monitor blood glucose closely in patients with prediabetes or type 2 diabetes. - Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Not studied in pregnant or lactating women. Avoid unless medically necessary and under physician supervision. - Children or Adolescents
Off-label use requires close monitoring of bone age and growth plates to avoid premature epiphyseal closure. - Thyroid Dysfunction
Sermorelin therapy may unmask or worsen hypothyroidism, particularly subclinical cases. Thyroid function should be monitored and treated as needed. - Sleep Apnea
Growth hormone stimulation may worsen fluid retention or upper airway soft tissue swelling, potentially aggravating sleep apnea.
♡ Side Effects to Watch For (Especially With Injections)
- Redness, pain, or swelling at injection site
- Headache
- Nausea
- Flushing or dizziness
- Gynecomastia (rare, due to hormonal shifts)
- Carpal tunnel-like symptoms (if IGF-1 is too elevated)
