Casey’s love for sports and physical activity helped fuel his competitive personality and excel in high school sports (basketball, football, and tennis) and events such as; the Chicago Accenture Triathlon, MS150, and multiple Martial Arts tournaments. Casey fostered his creativity through storytelling and Martial Arts. His love for storytelling drove him to pursue and obtain a degree in digital filmmaking. After given the opportunity to teach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Casey was overwhelmed by the feeling of joy he got from educating and earned his NASM Personal Trainer Certification in pursuit of helping others full time. Casey enjoys making personal connections with individuals and helping them accomplish their personal goals. “I love helping others grow by giving them the tools they need to help shape and mold themselves into becoming whatever it is they wish to be.” Casey makes it a point to explore different ways of growing his mind and body for the better of himself and others.
Training in Tae Kwon Do in Kindergarten started Ray’s love for and involvement in sports. In middle and high school, he participated in basketball, football, and track & field. Ray earned a full scholarship to play football at Texas Christian University, where he was a 4-year letter winner and a 3-year starter. He also earned the designation as a Strength and Conditioning All-American in 2006. While at TCU, Ray earned his Bachelors Degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Psychology. After college Ray participated in camp with the Dallas Cowboys and played 6 years in the Arena Football League. He also trained and competed in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Ray spent some time working in sales and service; however, he missed being around sports and being able to personally make a difference in people’s lives. Ray started training high school football players and also earned his NASM Personal Trainer Certification. This way he could share his passion and experience for sports and fitness on a larger scale.
Ray and his wife Jackie met in college and were married in 2013. Jackie has been a teacher in the Cy-Fair school district for 16 years, teaching 3rd and Kindergarten. They have 2 kids, Lennox and Raiden, that keep their lives interesting.
